Helping Unaccompanied Students Graduate from High School

Episode 17: Bob Harris

Bob Harris ran a corporate business for twenty years and then sold it to his employees. Then, he transitioned into the nonprofit sector. He served as Executive Director of an organization that provided camp experiences for teens, and one day, while loading a trailer with camp gear, he had a heart attack…which resulted in quadruple-bypass surgery.

And you’ll never guess what he did while he was laying in that hospital bed recovering from the surgery… He decided to start a new nonprofit! πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ™ŒπŸ§‘ Just goes to show you the maxim is true: You can’t keep a good man down!

Bob Harris is a Texan with a big heart for unaccompanied teens. I can’t wait for you to hear how his organization is changing the world one life at a time.
